Now that's a BIG Breakfast!!
I got these pictures today from my missus. They show some of her colleagues attempting a breakfast challenge. It's at Mario's Cafe in Westhoughton near Manchester, and if you can eat the lot without a drink in 20 minutes, then you get it free (normally a tenner)
The breakfast contains: 10 eggs, 10 bacon, 10 sausage, 10 toast, 5 black puddings, tomatoes, beans and mushrooms !
After their 20 minutes were up, they'd failed:
Now I reckon I could do most of it, but 10 slices of toast without a drink to wash them down would have me scuppered!
Anyone reckon they could do it all?

Jesus, no chance.
I've got one mate that would have a go at that but 20 mins isn't much time.
You need Jimmy Five Bellys for a challenge like that.

Yep. Easy.
At Stihl on fridays we used to have '8 items for £1.50' and you chose what you wanted to make up the 8.. we used to do 16 items or even 24, and we had 15 minutes to get from the warehouse, into the canteen, queue, and eat it, and be back in the warehouse.
I could do that no hassles IMO.

Nope, not a chance.
I mean, its not even on a plate, its just slapped on the tray.
Presentation is everything IMO.

Got to agree with the toast bit, thats an absolute destroyer. Almost like five packed sandwiches for breakfast with everything on them. not a chance in 20minutes. Could do 3/5ths of it i reckon, although not a fan of eggs!
And its only a 20 minute drive away

No because I wouldn't eat either the eggs or 'shrooms but so long as I could trade them in for more black pud then I'd happily give it a go.
Actually I'd rather just pay for it and enjoy it with a cup or two of coffee - I pay just shy of £6 for 1/5th of that at my locals.
NB: Oh and I'd insist on grilled tomato halves over that mess there that looks like it's just been slopped out can.

The more I look at it, the less I think I'd manage it tbh, but I'm going to show the pics to one of our salesman that I think would do it. He nips out every Friday lunchtime and downs at least 4 Maccy D double cheeseburgers. One day he had 6 and reckoned he could easily eat more, probably 10. Sounds like a man for the challenge

Hmm.
My hangover brekkie is 6 sausages, 8 bacon, 4 eggs, beans, mushrooms 3 bits of toast.
That fills me right up.
I'd damn well try, but never in 20 mins, and never all that toast...
Oz.

Not a damn chance...
Would love the breakfast but I would need about two bottles of 2l fanta to finish it...
oh and a ambulance on standby for the inevitable death that that breakfast would cause you

Not a problem.
I'm pretty sure If I can finish off a family feast in that time that should be doable, I'd rather take my time though
Not a bad effort from the guy in the black sweater either, just a little more practice and he'd have polished it off.

I'd give it a good try.
think I'd manage it, maybe not in 20mins but not far off it.
The only thing is the sausages are probably made from the worst of the worst cuts of meat

To be honest if they contained anything that could legally be described as "meat" I'd be suprised.

I like a lot of food and I've eaten silly amounts in a short time spans but that looks quite immense.
the 10 slices of toast would probably hamper me. I wonder if its 10 full slices of bread or 10 half cut triangles of toast. if it was the latter it'd be a bit easier but still not something I'd imagine doing in 20mins.
I spose if i was really hungry I could knock it all back.
As for maccy d stuff it is pretty easy to eat large quantities of the stuff. I've done 10 double cheeseburgers before when they used to be 99p and that wasnt that hard.
If I'm really hungry and have a bit of cash my ideal lunch at maccy d's is a large big mac meal, a quarter pounder with cheese and 2 or 3 double cheeseburgers.
Saying that those brekkies do look a little too much. A few ta'ers know I can eat silly amounts of food (especially a KFC bucket in 15mins whilst driving ) but there is something about it that looks tricky. that and the fact i hate mushrooms.
